About UsServing on the AAGW Board of Directors is a voluntary, non-monetary compensated position which involves supporting the multifamily housing industry through growth of the Association. Service includes participation in Board Meetings, attending Association meetings and events, participating as a committee member, encouraging participation in membership activities, practicing good business by utilizing members' products/services, promoting new membership, among other duties.
The Nominating Committee is seeking to fill eleven (11) apartment industry member positions and six (6) associate supplier positions. To be eligible all candidates must be employed by a member in good standing. The apartment industry positions will be slated for approval at the Annual Meeting, the associate supplier positions will be elected by written ballot and voted on by the membership at the Annual Meeting. |
Terms and Meeting Times |
The term for serving is one year beginning at the Annual Meeting on August 20th, 2020. The AAGW Board of Directors typically meet on the second Thursday of each month for approximately 90 minutes. The Board tries to keep to these meeting times, but on occasion the meeting may be prolonged or a special meeting may be called. Attendance to these meeting is very important as a quorum is required to approve the passage and direct the operations of the AAGW.
